Software Release Notes
Before downloading the most recent version of the CaptionMaker from the downloads page, please read the
version

info (MacCaption) to check whether the new features you are looking for has been added and/or the bug you are aware of was fixed.
Software Updates
Before making use of our knowledge base, it is important that you have the current version of the software installed. Check our
software
downloads page to make sure that you have the most recent version of the software. If you do not, download and install the newest version.
Note 1: Before installing a new version, it is strongly advised that you uninstall the old version. Make a note of the caption/subtitle device, the comm. port for the device, time code card and the associated address. You need to choose these parameters after you install the software.
Note 2: You must restart the computer to detect the CPC Protection box and/or timecode reader card.
