CPC believes in the philosophy of providing free updates to our customers. Since the inception of CPC in 1985, CPC has been practicing that philosophy and intends to continue it.

You can go to the Downloads page and check the version info of the software you are interested in, and simply download the software any time 24/7. You do not even have to talk to anyone at CPC. It's totally free.

CPC has made hundreds of enhancements to our captioning software over the years. Suggestions for many enhancements come from our customers. We have a long and strong record of acting on customer feedback. 

One of the primary reasons CPC software costs what is does, is because we continuously invest a large portion of our revenue in Research and Development. This keeps our software way ahead of the competition, and lets our customers caption the latest video formats as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Upgrades - just pay the difference in prices
As for upgrades to a different level of a software series, you simple pay the difference in the price of the upgraded level and the one you are already licensed to. Contact us via email or phone and we will upgrade your software security key via internet. You do not need to send the software security key for replacement and waste a couple of days of your production time.

For example if you want to upgrade your CPC-700 to CPC-700NLE, you pay the difference in the prices $2,000 (= $6,995 - $4,995).
