If you do not have any prepared time-coded caption file, you may use a description file to caption video using CCaption and MacCaption-Lite. You need to create these files in any text editor and save them as a txt files. If you have a short video, it is not difficult to create time stamped text file using a text editor. For long videos, it is much better for you to use full-blown MacCaption software. CCaption and MacCaption-Lite do not have caption text preparation capabilities.
