Simply send us a small proxy movie and a transcript, (If you do not have one, we'll transcribe the video). We'll email you back a caption file specially tailored to your workflow. instructions on how to use the file to add your closed captions or subtitles to your video. No special software or hardware needed. Our Caption Files We adapt our caption file to your needs. Here is a broad list of what we do: DV Workflow If you use digital video, we will email you a small file and a program called CapEncode that will apply the captions to your video. NLE Workflow (SD) If you use a standard definition NLE we will email you a small "Black Movie" that you can put directly into your timeline. NLE Worklfow (HD) If you have an AJA card or the Matrox MXO2, CPC will email you a file that will allow you to output closed captions to HD formats using Final Cut Pro 7.
