Captioning and Subtitling Videotapes

You can caption all your videotapes using either any one of the CaptionMaker or MacCaption software.

Traditional solution using CC encoder hardware
If you go from videotape to videotape, one solution is to use an external closed caption encoder. You may use any one of the following software CaptionMaker

Classic Encoder versions of CaptionMaker and MacCaption.

You may also use

HD full or encoder versions  of CaptionMaker and MacCaption

State of the art digital solution without using CC encoder hardware
The other solution is to digitize the video on the computer, caption it without using an external closed caption encoder, and then dump the captioned digital video on the videotape. You may use either MacCaption or CaptionMaker
