How to Turn On Captions
on Quicktime and iTunes
-
Quicktime for Windows
-
Quicktime for Mac OSX
-
iTunes for Windows / Mac
Quicktime for Windows
To enable captions in Quicktime 7.2 you have make sure to
set the following:
1. Edit > Preferences >
Player Preferences
2. Select "Show closed captioning when available"
(if this
is the first time you are turning on captions in Quicktime you
must quit Quicktime and relaunch for the change to take effect.)

Quicktime for Mac OSX
To enable captions in the Quicktime 7.2 do the following:
in the top menu on the left go to
Quicktime Player »
Preferences...
select "show closed
captioning when available"
(if this is the first
time you are turning on captions in Quicktime you must quit Quicktime and
relaunch for the change to take effect.)

iTunes 7.4
To enable captions in iTunes 7 menu:
